Our history
In 1886 Peter Maersk Møller
bought a steamship named ‘Laura’. The rest, as they say, is history.
As society became more dependent on oil, the demand for tanker vessels grew –
and with it, new business opportunities. This led to the birth of MDH INTERNATIONAL, INC.
in 1928. At the time, the company had five vessels to its name. It has since
grown to become a towering figure in the product tanker industry.
What has remained constant throughout the course of our history is the blue
water that shapes and anchors our identity. The ocean is where we belong.
Let us take you on our voyage…
